1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FieldTech ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

FieldTech is a cloud-based field service management platform that provides work order management, technician tracking, inventory management, customer management, invoicing, and reporting tools for field service businesses.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One account per person — sharing credentials between multiple people is not permitted
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Subscription & Payment

FieldTech is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. Trial accounts may have limited features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use FieldTech to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Track individuals without their knowledge or consent
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
• Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate business operations

7. Data & Privacy

You retain ownership of all data you input into FieldTech. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to enter third-party data (such as customer information) into the platform.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, force majeure, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIELDTECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days before it is permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
